LostPensivos Films has been producing award-winning documentaries since 2002. The first film, A Farewell Song, was a labour of love that began with an idea about making a music-based documentary in Shanghai. With the support of the British Documentary Film Foundation (backed by the UK’s Channel 4), it was finished as a feature film in 2006 and recut for TV in 2007. A Farewell Song has since played at many festivals and won awards including the Special Jury Prize for Documentary at the 2007 Syracuse International Film Festival.

Over the years, we have produced several more documentaries, including, “A Documentary: the Making of the 2007 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony”, a behind-the-scenes look at how a team of international and Chinese producers crossed cultural barriers to stage the biggest live show China has ever seen.

Since 2003, LostPensivos Films has also worked with dozens of clients to create innovative television commercials and corporate videos for the Chinese and international markets.
