A Farewell Song screens in Gateshead April 6th A Farewell Song, was screened twice on the afternoon of Sunday, April 6th at The Sage Gateshead, near Newcastle in the UK.
A Farewell Song screens in Newcastle February 28th Our documentary, A Farewell Song, received its UK premiere (outisde of film festivals) at the Side Cinema in Newcastle on the evening of February 28th. We couldn't make it to the screening, but organizers reported that "everyone who saw it loved it."
Sexy Kitchen goes online February Our Mandarin-language cooking show, Sexy Kitchen, was launched online across a dozen major Chinese video hosting site, in February. Within a day we had over 1,000 hits, with no advertising. Within ten days, hits were up to 20,000. Talks are now in progress with Chinese broadcasters and sponsors looking to back the show.
Special Olmpics doc wraps 18th December The Special Olympics documentary we started shooting in May is finally over. We produced a remarkable amount of material for the DVD in the end... a 45 minute film, a ten minute "rehearsals" video, plus hours and hours of time-lapse footage.
Special Olympics Ceremony a success 2nd October The Special Olympics Opening Ceremony is a monumental success. Hundreds of millions of people worldwide watch the four hour show on TV, 60,000 watch live from the Shanghai Stadium, 5,000 cast members perform. It is a truly amazing event. CCTV filmed the performance live on about two dozen cameras - and we covered the backstage action and the lead-up to the event.
Special Olympics trailer launched 19th September Our five minute "trailer" for the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony played today to an audience of about 10,000 at Shanghai's Grand Stage.
