Our Favourite Films of 2012

To celebrate the arrival of the new year we’ve compiled a list of our favourite films of 2012. We asked each member of the LPfilms team to submit their personal favourite film which was released over the course of the year.

LT (Producer) went for ‘2 Days in New York‘, the quirky comedy from Julie Delpy and follow up to ‘2 Days in Paris’ (2007).

Arthur‘s (Director) film of the year was ‘Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present‘. In his own words: “We see the world through her eyes, and her art seems so vital and urgent. I cried.”

Annie (Copywriter) decided to go for the film adaptation of ‘Life of Pi‘ – “a good story with incredibly beautiful scenes”.

LiuJia‘s (Cameraman) film of the year was the Iranian drama ‘A Seperation‘.

Stephen (Creative) has gone for ‘The Ambassador‘, a darkly comic, genre-bending piece of gonzo journalism from international provocateur Mads Brügger.

J‘s (Editor) film of the year: ‘Lost in Thailand‘ – “So funny, the audience laughed from beginning to end”
