We’re all familiar with the menus of Chinese take-outs, but generally what we know about Chinese food is embarrassingly limited. What’s available in the UK is just a tiny part of the culinary adventure that is Chinese cuisine.

Having spent four years working as a food writer and TV presenter in Shanghai, Isobel is now preparing to move back to the UK to open a pop-up Chinese restaurant in central London. To make it a success, she’s determined to bring with her a menu of mouthwatering dishes to shatter the UK consumers’ pre-conceptions of Chinese food.
